Evidence, not a description

Everything you'd have asked them for.

One tap files what they typed, the element they meant, a masked screenshot and the minute before it. Fixback condenses it all into one Brief — so you stay in the zone.

Masked by default · web · Expo · Node · .NET · ~2 min to live

The back-and-forth you skip

  1. What were you trying to do?

Their words: “I tap Pay and nothing happens.” Typed in the overlay, on the page where it happened — or, for your own team, said out loud in a Walkthrough.

  2. Which button, exactly?

The element: button#pay-now. They point at it, and you get the node, its DOM path and its size.

  3. Can you send a screenshot?

Screenshot: Taken on tap, every input masked on the device before capture. Then they mark what's wrong.

  4. What did you do right before?

Replay: The minute before the tap: routes, clicks, scrolls. They removed item 2, 21s earlier.

  5. Did you see an error?

Console: TypeError at checkout.tsx:88, symbolicated against your sourcemaps. Uncaught, it files itself — no tap needed.

  6. Did anything fail to load?

Network: POST /api/checkout → 500 in 412ms. Never a header or cookie; bodies only if you opt in.

  7. What phone? Which browser?

Environment: Safari 17.4 on an iPhone, 390×844, release 2.14.0 — straight from the SDK.

  8. Anything in the server logs?

Your server: The same request's ValidationError, from @fixback/node — filed as its own Issue and correlated to this one.

Then Fixback writes it up

Eight answers. One Brief.

AI reads every signal together and hands you the bug already understood — each claim traced to the evidence it came from.

Tapping Pay does nothing after removing a cart item

Brief
Bug: Pay silently fails when the cart has had an item removed

The reporter removed one of three items, then tapped Pay on checkout. No order was placed and no error was shown. Checkout throws on the empty slot left in cart.items, and the server rejects the request with a 500.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Add three items to the cart.
  2. Remove the second item.
  3. Open checkout and tap Pay.
Expected vs. Actual
  • Expected — the order submits and a confirmation is shown.
  • Actual — nothing happens. No spinner, no toast, no error state.
Key Signals
  • Console — TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'id') at checkout.tsx:88
  • Network — POST /api/checkout → 500 in 412 ms
  • Server (correlated API-212) — ValidationError: ids[1] is null
Environment
  • Safari 17.4 · iOS 17.4 · 390×844 · release 2.14.0

Runs · hosted coding agent

Press Ship. Watch it merge.

A sandboxed agent picks up the Brief with every piece of Evidence, fixes it in your repo, runs your tests and drives it as far as the reporter's trust tier allows. It runs on Fixback AI — and your own agent is always one Handoff away.

Full Evidence in context

The agent pulls the Brief, the Trace (clicks, console, network) and the marked screenshot through Fixback's own tools.

Isolated sandbox

Your repo is cloned, installed and tested in a fresh environment for every Run.

Fixback AI, or your own agent

Hosted Runs run on Fixback AI — no key to bring, no model to pick. Or hand the Issue to your own Claude session, or pull Issues into any agent over MCP.

Every turn on record

Reasoning, tool calls and edits stream live, and the transcript is yours to download.

A fix is a hosted Run: the coding agent's time in its sandbox, and the Fixback AI it uses. Fix prices are estimates — every Run shows what it cost.

Rates

M is a million tokens. A prompt-cache write bills as input. Sandbox minutes round up, and a Run that fails still bills what it used.

Most of an agent's tokens are cached reads: each turn re-reads what the last one cached. Real fixes vary with your repo and the bug.
